Boichi wrote and drew the Sun-Ken Rock manga. It was published in Shōnen Gahosha’s manga magazine Young King from April 24, 2006, to February 22, 2016. The chapters were later gathered into 25 tankōbon volumes, released between September 27, 2006, and April 25, 2016.

The manga first appeared digitally in English on JManga on July 26, 2012, but the site shut down on May 30, 2013. Crunchyroll got the license to release it simultaneously with Japan’s publication in February 2014. BookWalker also started offering it digitally in November 2015, and Manga Planet joined in on May 21, 2020. There’s also a spin-off called Yumin ni Gohan wo Tabesasetai (“I Want to Feed Yumin”), released on November 26, 2012.

It’s about Ken, who was rejected by Yumin, the girl he loved. She went to Korea to become a cop, so he followed her there, hoping to become a cop too. But things didn’t go as planned, and he ended up becoming the boss of a local gang instead, after saving an old man from some bad guys.
